Each round of baccarat starts with two cards dealt to both the Player and Banker sides. Card values are added and only the units digit is kept — for example, 7 and 8 together give 5 (the units digit of 15). The side closest to 9 wins. A third card is drawn in certain situations — this rule is applied automatically and you do not need to remember it.
