Example 1 — Team A wins (৳200 stake)
Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. On a ৳200 stake, if you win you get back ৳600 (৳400 profit + ৳200 original stake). If you lose, ৳200 is gone.
Example 2 — Team B (Favourite) wins (৳200 stake)
Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American −125. A minus in American odds means you need to stake ৳125 to win ৳100 profit. On a ৳200 stake the return is ৳360 (৳160 profit).
In a multi bet you multiply the decimal odds of each selection. Say three selections have odds of 1.40, 1.50 and 1.80 — the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.80 = 3.78 (approximately). On a ৳100 stake, if all three are correct the return is ৳378. If any one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
